JA Finance Park: Fall 2025

JA Finance Park combines in-class curriculum taught over 12 lessons, with a reality-based simulation at the end of the program, allowing students to practice what they have learned in the classroom. They learn key concepts such as:
- Income
- Savings
- Investing and Risk Management
- Credit and Debit
- Careers
- Budgeting
During the interactive simulation, students use tablets and navigate assigned hypothetical life scenarios to gain a better understanding of how life, career, and income circumstances affect financial decisions. As they explore various categories of expenses represented in booths, they are guided by experienced volunteers, staff, and educators, to develop and commit to a budget, experiencing for a day what it is like to be adults.
This process lays a strong foundation for young people to make educated financial decisions that last a lifetime.
