At JA of Southeastern Pennsylvania, we host several events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students! Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support our work while having a great time!

The JA INSPIRE: STEM Series serves as a catalyst for high school students, igniting their curiosity and encouraging exploration of diverse careers within STEM fields. Participation in this career-connected learning experience meets the Act 158 externship graduation requirement. Through collaboration with partners spanning various STEM sectors, we aim to unlock students' potential, inspiring them to pursue pathways that align with their passions and aspirations.

When: Thursday, October 19, 2023JA Rising Women empowers high school students through a transformative learning and coaching experience that inspires them to dream big and prepares them to succeed in the next phase of life, whatever that might be.

Students will experience STEM careers through demos, experiments and other activities. With our inaugural group of STEM professionals hosting booths, students will participate in an intentional career awareness experience with prework, the expo and follow up activities. We aim to provide a glimpse into high growth/high demand industries and inspire students to consider pursuing them as a career in the future.

JA YPB Bowl-a-thon 2023
When: Sunday, April 02, 2023The Junior Achievement Young Professional's Board is excited to host its first bowl-a-thon event since 2020! This fundraiser will, of course, benefit Junior Achievement of Southeastern Pennsylvania and the students in the local communities that we support. Our goal is to raise over $7,500 to enable JA to keep up the wonderful programming that empowers and prepares young people to be financially fluent, ready for work, and entrepreneurially minded!
