The JA INSPIRE: STEM Series serves as a catalyst for high school students, igniting their curiosity and encouraging exploration of diverse careers within STEM fields. Participation in this career-connected learning experience meets the Act 158 externship graduation requirement. Through collaboration with partners spanning various STEM sectors, we aim to unlock students' potential, inspiring them to pursue pathways that align with their passions and aspirations.
This experiences features:
1,200 total high school student participants (600/each school)
Interactive, hands-on STEM expo booths.
Volunteers sharing their world of work and education/training background.
*Students will complete 9 hours of pre and post-work in addition to the culminating event as part of the overall program.*
