Philadelphia, PA —April 15, 2026 — The Pennsylvania Bankers Association (PA Bankers) and Junior Achievement (JA) announced a new statewide partnership designed to expand financial literacy education and career readiness opportunities for young people across the Commonwealth.
Through this collaboration, PA Bankers and JA will connect banking professionals with classrooms and community programs to deliver hands-on financial education, expose students to careers in banking and finance, and help build the workforce of the future. The partnership aims to reach thousands of students annually through JA’s proven curriculum and PA Bankers’ strong network of financial institutions.

“Our member banks are deeply committed to helping young people build the knowledge and skills they need to make smart financial decisions. Working alongside Junior Achievement allows us to bring that mission to classrooms across the state.”
JA, one of the nation’s largest youth-serving organizations, provides curriculum and volunteer-led programming focused on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and career readiness. By teaming up with PA Bankers, JA will expand access to banking professionals who can share real-world insights and engage directly with students.
JA is thrilled to partner with the PA Bankers Association to empower the next generation. When students interact with industry professionals, it brings financial concepts to life and helps them envision their own future possibilities.
The partnership will support a variety of initiatives, including:
- JA Finance Park® and JA BizTown® programming enhancements
- Career exploration events, job shadowing, and panel discussions
- Regional events connecting banks with local JA programs
