Bassam Awadalla is the Business Operations Executive Leading Social Media Client Care and Client Services and Credit Assistance Client Experience teams.
As the Social Media Client Care (SMCC) Executive, Bassams teams operate across the U.S. and deliver real-time solutions to clients engaging in social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook. SMCC plays a crucial role in mitigating risk, navigating a vast audience of thousands of social media followers, and addressing potentially viral stories. Their mission is to safeguard and enhance Bank of Americas brand, reputation, and client relationships.
As the Client Experience Executive, Bassam is responsible for client experience across Client Services and Credit Assistance. Bassam manages a team responsible for Voices -- a client feedback program that touches millions of clients and provides real-time feedback.
Prior to joining Client Services and Credit Assistance, Bassam was the Consumer Banking and Investments Operations Executive supporting the Consumer Banking Community Divisions 720 financial centers and over 5,400 associates. He led a team of Operations Managers who were responsible for driving continuous improvement in the day-to-day management of financial centers. This includes simplifying processes, proactively managing risk, and delivering innovative new tools that help associates to do more for our clients.
Bassam has held several senior leader roles in his 15 years at Bank of America, including Region Executive responsible for managing client experience, risk, and revenue growth across 124 Financial Centers in Pennsylvania, South New Jersey, and Delaware.
In addition, Bassam held roles as a Market Integration Executive and currently is the Consumer Lead for the Philadelphia-Delaware Market. As a Consumer Lead, Bassam is a designated Consumer Leader who is responsible for all consumer business integration activity across the Philadelphia-Delaware Market
Bassam currently serves as the Board Chair of Junior Achievement of Southeastern Pennsylvania and is a board member and committee chair of Philabundance; two non-profit organizations located in the Philadelphia Metro area. He is the executive sponsor of the Philadelphia Black Professional Group chapter.
Bassam earned a Bachelors degree in Political Science from the American University in Cairo.
